Weiner: And he thinks he’s going to win points by winning points. What he doesn’t know is you win points by losing points. Shall I repeat that fa you? In other words, winning a debate is not the same thing as winning a publicized debate like this. Two different things. I’m one of the world’s best debaters. I am. But there’s a difference between winning a debate and winning the hearts and minds of the American people. Oh he can win a debate tonight on some points, but that’s only gonna cost him in poll numbers.
He’s gotta lose to win. He can’t win to lose. In other words if he wins he loses, and if he loses he wins. But he doesn’t know that yet, he doesn’t understand the the whole uh uh yin yang of this. This is a tai chi my friend. This is not a single-minded kill the opponent. This is not the world wrestling federation. This is not football. This is not a sporting event. This is a totally fifth dimensional, sixth dimensional, seventh dimensional thing. You gotta lose to win. And the way you lose to win is the way I just told you. I don’t mean look like an idiot. I hope you didn’t get that out of it.
