Though some seem pleased with the the subsequent concessions from Comcast, i.e. satellite installation for Demcracy Now! and vague promise for non-profit to handle the PEG stuff, I sure think we are dreaming if we think they will make good on those commitments.

Getting rid of a big, RICH corporation when we have a GOOD reason is essential. That opportunity does not fall into our laps often and we should "strike while the iron is hot". Please excuse the "negative framing".

There are certainly details I am unaware of like will the "band" still be there to have and to hold for FM if we bid farewell to Comcast? (positive framing, I could have said "dump") Seems like there are enough bright minds around to allow this action to begin PRONTO!!!
