According to testimony in the Petition to Deny KSJO's radio license, KSJO's DJ "Mikey" Esparza coaxed a four-year old girl to repeat a joke about oral sex, and gave tips on how to kidnap and murder young girls.
His Statutory Rape Song included the following lyrics:
Ooh yeah, look at that child over there
Is she nine or is she twelve? Ain't got no public hair either. Whoo!
I'm feeling frisky. I know it's risky but,
Friday night I need a bite. Underage girls with some cellulite
I like 'em young with no pubic hair. I like 'em bald and I like 'em bare
After a firestorm of protest, KSJO dismissed Esparza. But then Clear Channel re-hired him just three months later - just as Clear Channel hired Michael Weiner even after he was fired by MSNBC from his short-lived cable TV show for telling a caller he should 'get AIDS and die.'
Clear Channel then thumbed it's nose at the entire Bay area by promoting Senor Esparza's return on Clear Channel-owned billboards and bus stations with the slogan: 'LISTEN BEFORE WE FIRE HIM - AGAIN.'
