Marin gets voice on television as new chief of revamped center invites public, nonprofits to produce more local progamming

"The center took over the community access channels from Comcast, which turned over operations to the Marin Telecommunications Agency, along with a one-time $3 million grant as part of Comcast's franchise extension. The MTA allotted $2.5 million of that money for capital expenses, such as leasing its new space at 819 A Street in San Rafael and turning it into a modern video production facility.
Eisenmenger and his two full-time employees have compiled a wide array of video equipment, including 20 cameras and 12 Apple workstations for audio and video editing. The renovation of the space is nearly complete, with work on its four-camera studio and control room the final hurdles."
